Full-Stack Software Engineer
Full-stack engineer with production experience across React, Svelte, Node.js, and Python based in Munich, Germany.
I'm a full-stack engineer. I've spent the last 8+ years building and maintaining web apps, mostly in JavaScript and TypeScript, though I've also written production code in Python, PHP, Java, and Go.
On the frontend I usually work with React, Angular, or Svelte. On the backend it's Node.js, FastAPI, or Laravel. I care about code that's clean and easy to change, so I lean on SOLID and clean architecture. I've worked in agile teams and on my own.
When I'm not working, I go to conferences and meetups, solve problems on HackerRank and LeetCode, or tinker with side projects.
I'm happiest building interfaces, but I'm just as comfortable working on the API and infrastructure behind them.

A few projects I'm proud of. Some are mostly frontend, some are full stack.
A web portal I built at Agilent Technologies for controlling lab instruments in real time. It talks to the hardware over WebSockets using the OPC UA protocol.
The customer-facing side of a banking app at Codebase Technologies. I built it with Angular and Ionic on top of a Node.js REST API.
I work full stack at PANTOPIX in Munich, mostly in JavaScript and TypeScript, on both the frontend and the backend.
I built and maintained a web portal for controlling IoT lab instruments, using Angular and TypeScript. I also wrote the backend APIs that talked to the instruments over WebSockets, which meant getting to know the OPC UA protocol.
I built the frontend for an online food delivery site in React, and kept a WordPress site and an older Laravel (PHP) project running.
I worked on a banking app built with Angular and Ionic, and wrote and integrated REST APIs in Node.js that handled both JSON and XML. We worked in an Agile setup, and this is where I learned to take SOLID and clean architecture seriously.
